Mary Alyce Blackett Moon Obituary (1924 - 2016)

Alyce Moon CORINNE - Mary Alyce Blackett Moon, 91, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. Alyce was born on December 13, 1924 in Magna, Utah a daughter of Edward A. and Mary Jeanetta White Blackett. She married Frank Joseph Moon, Sr. on May 25, 1942 in Preston, Idaho, he died on June 6, 2007. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and spending time with her family. Alyce was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are her children: Sharon (Jerry) Young, Frank Moon, Jr., Marsha Cooper, 8 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Bill two daughter-in-law's: Debbie and Colleen and one great-granddaughter Anna. Graveside services will be at the Malad Cemetery, Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. A viewing will be Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT.
