Mildred Louise Neff Darnell Obituary (1928 - 2010)

Mildred Darnell BRIGHAM CITY - Mildred Louise Neff Darnell passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 in her home in Brigham City, Utah. She was born in Stillwell, OK on April 12, 1928, and moved to Tulsa in 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Kennie Neff, and her brother Paul. She is survived by her husband Clarence, five daughters and four sons-in-law, 19 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. Mildred retired at age 72 and was loved by all the patients she assisted while serving in the medical field. She was an avid bowler and great poker player, as well as a devoted mother and wife. Her greatest fear was leaving Clarence alone, so they recently moved to Utah to be closer to Clarence's family. This move brought the opportunity to make friends at the local community senior center, to gain wonderful neighbors, and to enjoy the view of the mountains from her window.
