Miriam "Mitzie" Oleson Leatherow Obituary (1935 - 2017)

Miriam "Mitzie" Oleson Leatherow September 29, 1935 - March 24, 2017 Mitzie passed away peacefully, surrounded by family. She loved camping, water and snow skiing, and vacationing with her husband in Mexico. Mitzie worked for Union Pacific Railroad and retired as a clerk. She is survived by her loving husband Don Leatherow; sister Marilyn Fairbanks; daughter R'Lee Field; sons Donald, Richard, Mark and Bill Lindsey, Bryan Gonzales; stepchildren Lori and Jon Gonzales, and Chris, Lori, and Melinie Leatherow; she is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren. Mitzie is preceded in death by daughter Sunny Michelle Gonzales. Special thanks to Liberty Dialysis, Hospice Care of Northern Utah, Diane Lindsey, and Cindy Sase. A viewing for family and friends will be held at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT 84404, on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary on Friday, March 31st at 2 p.m. with a viewing prior from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. Interment in the Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
