Ok Sun Kim Obituary (1937 - 2024) - Salt Lake City, Utah

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ, Ok Sun Kim, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 87. She has gone to be with the Lord she so dearly loved. We are grateful for the blessing that she did not endure pain in her final moments. Born in Korea in 1937, Ok Sun lived in Seoul, South Korea until 1984, when she immigrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 4, 1984. From a young age, Ok Sun demonstrated a love for the arts. As a child, she was a talented tap dancer who traveled to perform in various places, including Russia. During high school, she developed a passion for playing the classical guitar, a skill she cherished throughout her life. In her later years, she discovered a deep love for writing poetry, capturing her thoughts and emotions through beautiful words. Ok Sun is survived by her loving family: Daughter Elizabeth, son-in-law Randy, and granddaughter Christina Daughter Judy, son-in-law Paul, grandson Dominic, and granddaughter Cati Daughter Janae, son-in-law Bruce, and granddaughter Hannah Son Young, daughter-in-law Eung Hee, grandson Andrew Jinwoo, and granddaughter Alyssa Ghabin Her life was a testament to creativity, faith, and love, and her memory will remain forever in our hearts
