Opal Harris Opp Obituary (1930 - 2015)

Opal Harris Opp 1930 - 2015 Opal was born in Preston, Idaho to Klea and Byron Harris on March 29, 1930. She passed away December 5, 2015 in Ogden, Utah at age 85. Opal married Raymond Duane Arave in 1947, divorced in 1953. She was married to Dennis D. Opp for 48 years until his death in 2001. Opal worked for many years at Stop & Shop Grocery store in Ogden. She and Dennis enjoyed camping, card playing, bowling and spending time with family and a close group of friends. She is survived by 2 brothers; Blaine and Craig Harris, 3 children; Lynn Blair, DeAnn Ukena, and Trudy Chiles, 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis; brother, Keith Harris and sister-in-law, Eva Harris. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
