O. Kay Fuller Click here to listen to Funeral Recording St. George - Otis Kay Fuller, age 83, passed away on March 25, 2012 surrounded by his loving family and friends. His passing resulted from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was born August 16, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Otis Leland Fuller and Elaine Grow. He was raised in his early years in Huntsville (Ogden Valley), later resided in the Ogden, Utah area. He attended school in the Weber and Ogden School Districts. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and upper division studies from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He served in the U.S. Air Force from late 1948 to early 1953. While in the Air Force he married Audrey Van Pelt on June 7, 1951. They were later divorced. Three children came from this marriage; Gregory Otis (Donna) Fuller, Clayton CA, Pamela Fuller (Robert) Murray, Ririe ID, Jeffrey Eldon Fuller (deceased). After a lengthy courtship he married Frances Wilkes on May 29, 1981. With this marriage he was blessed with five additional adult children; Lynne Burrell (Terry) Bexell, North Ogden UT, David Burrell (Becky), Clinton UT, Judy Burrell (Robert) Young, Cornell CA, Debbie Burrell (Rick) Ryan, Riverton UT, Wayne Burrell (Rachelle), Roy UT. With the passage of time and activity, the posterity of this couple has now expanded to include 30 living grand-children and 59 great-grandchildren. His parents and son, Jeffrey preceded him in death. Kay spent most of his professional life at Hill Air Force Base serving in a variety of managerial positions in the areas of accounting/budgeting, resources, workload, staff reporting and system development. After 26 years of service, he had the opportunity to take an early retirement from Hill to allow his pursuit of other fields. Following retirement, he spent some time in the real estate sales marketing fields. He spent 8 years as an accounting associate with Child & Company of Ogden prior to serving a fulltime mission with his wife Fran, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the California San Jose Mission. Kay was a faithful member of the Church, serving in many callings from Sunday School/Primary Teacher through Bishopric and High council positions. He was accused of being a "work-a-holic". His desire to complete the tasks in a timely and first rate manner consumed extensive time. This sometimes interfered in family and social time, but they all knew of his deep love for them. He really did enjoy socializing and playing games with family, friends and neighbors.
