Raida Ellen Betteridge Kimber Obituary (1912 - 2011)

Raida E. Kimber BRIGHAM CITY - Raida Ellen Betteridge was born May 24, 1912 to John Taplin Betteridge and Ellen Sarah Ballingham in Grouse Creek, Utah. Died July 20, 2011 in Brigham City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan C. Kimber, her brothers: Wilber, George, Orland, and Wallace, her sister Elva, a daughter Darlene a son Marvin and a grandson Randy. She is survived by her sister Eva Rowland, Ogden, UT; her sons: Richard D. (Joan), Brigham City, UT; John T. (Dolores), Las Vegas, NV; and Ivan Lynn, Ogden, UT; 10 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at the Grouse Creek Branch on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 12 Noon with a viewing from 11:00 to 11:40 a.m. before the services. A viewing will be Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Raida played the piano and organ by ear from a very early age. She was the ward organist for many years and also enjoyed playing in the Grouse Creek Orchestra. She was a talented, elegant lady and will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations to Primary Children's Medical Center would be appreciated.
