Santos Dominguez, Sr Obituary (1935 - 2010)

Santos Dominguez Sr. Ogden - Santos Dominguez Sr., 74, died August 8, 2010. He was born November 1, 1935, in Hondo, Texas to Ben and Gertrude Leyva Dominguez. He married Maria Coronado, June 26, 1954 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They celebrated 56 years this year. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Santos enjoyed gardening, living life, spending time with his family and was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. He retired from Albertson's warehouse after 21 years of service. He is survived by his wife Maria; children, Benjamin Dominguez (Lorraine), Ernesto Dominguez (Sally), Jerry Dominguez (Terri), Daniel Dominguez (Debbie), Linda Lara (Jesse), Hope Martinez (Carlos), Virginia Mora, Santos Dominguez Jr. (Melissa); 30 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren and his brother Victor Dominguez (Mary). Preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and two sisters. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 13, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 514 24th St. Friends may call on Thursday, August 12th at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. from 6 to 8 PM, with a rosary at 7 PM. Inurnment will be at the Ogden City Cemetery on Saturday, August 14th at 10 AM. The family would like to thank Allen and Page and the rest of the Legacy Hospice staff, Molly, Scott, Edwin and everyone at Aspen Care Center. Also Hope Dominguez, his daughter for being at his side every step of the way.
