Shirley ''Toodie'' June Bell Henderson Obituary (1927 - 2004)

SHIRLEY "TOODIE" JUNE BELL HENDERSON OGDEN - Shirley "Toodie" June Bell Henderson, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Wasatch Care Center in Ogden. She was born June 2, 1927 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Hendrick Bell and Johanna Van Limburg. She graduated from Ogden High School. She married Myron D. Henderson on May 6, 1950 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Myron passed away later in 1950. Shirley was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings and positions in the church as well as a stake missionary. She worked as a switchboard operator for the church, Merrill Lynch, Rockwell International and Swift and Company. She loved gardening, camping and spending time with her family. She was loved dearly by all her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and six brothers, Irene Bell, Everette Bell, Hattie Groesbeck, Henry L. Bell, George E. Bell, Henrietta W. Barnett, Harold A. Bell, Alfred E. Bell, and Kenneth L. Bell. She is survived by a brother Raymond A. Bell, and sister Evelyn G.
