Sidnee Joy Merrill Obituary (1944 - 2003)

SIDNEE JOY MERRILL ROY - Sidnee Joy Burns Merrill, 59, returned to her Father in Heaven peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2003. Sidnee was born in Logan on January 1, 1944 to John and Laura Burns. She was reared in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School. On March 29, 1965 she married Farrell Michael Merrill. She is survived by her husband Mike of Roy; four children; Shayne (Jolene) Merrill, Kim (Rick) Flinders, Kris (Jeff) Mager, Tony Merrill, and 12 grandchildren, also surviving is her mother Laura Brinkman and brother Jack (Diena) Burns, in-laws Farrell (Lois) Merrill. She was preceded in death by her father John Worley Burns and granddaughter Allison Merrill. Sidnee worked at Albertsons Grocery Store and retired after 35 years. She dedicated her life to family, grandchildren and dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 1p.m. at the Monte Vista Ward, 3845 South 2000 West in Roy with Bishop Ray Prather officiating. Friends may call on Monday at Myers Mortuary in Roy 5865 South 1900 West from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services.
