Steven Martin Quilty Obituary (1957 - 2006)

Steven Martin Quilty Steven Martin Quilty died November 18, 2006 at McKay Dee Hospital after a long extended illness. He was born May 17, 1957 in Rock Island, Illinois to Richard James Quilty and Patricia Muhlenburg Griffith. He and his brother were raised by their Aunt Marge and Uncle Shorty and after Shorty died, by Aunt Marge and Uncle Dallas after their father died at an early age. Steve graduated in 1976 from Illinois Valley Central High School, where he participated in track. He served in the Military for a short while. He loved to cook and made a living for many years as a chef. He also loved his brother Richard and two nieces, Ashley and Audra Quilty. Steve had a mischievous sense of humor and will always be remembered in the hearts of his loved ones. Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. at the Willard Cemetery. Family will meet friends Wednesday from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. The family would like to thank Aspen Care for all the love and care they gave Steve in the last several years. Family suggests donations be made to Myers Mortuary to help pay for Stevens services.
