Vivian Burdette Babcock BRIGHAM CITYa"Vivian Burdett Babcock Laursen died June 26, 2010. I was born August 27, 1923 in Castle Gate, UT (Carbon County) to my beloved parents, Vardus and Mary Albertson Babcock. I graduated from Carbon High in Price, UT in 1941 and married Edward (Bud) Laursen September 1, 1945. Our marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple on April 1, 1949. Our lives were filled with love and happiness! I retired from Morton Thiokol in 1986. Surviving are my husband Ed, daughter Vardell, sons: Bill and Dale, special grandsons: Joel and Jonathan Laursen, and brother, Grant (Lorraine) Babcock of Helper. I was preceded in death by my parents, brothers: William and Franklin and sister, Leona. My request is to have graveside services. They will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery.
