William ''Bill'' Lamont Burnett Obituary (1942 - 2004)

WILLIAM "BILL" LAMONT BURNETT CLEARFIELD - William "Bill" LaMont Burnett passed away January 1, 2004 at his home surrounded by his family and friends after an extended illness. He was born February 19, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Horace William and Lola Aretta Saunders Burnett of Clinton, Utah. He married Barbara Burton June 7, 1966 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS Clearfield 3rd Ward. He served a mission in the Western Central States (1960-1962). He was a Sunday School Teacher, Elders Quorum President and a Scoutmaster in the BSA. Bill was in the U.S. Army Reserves, owned Bill's Big "O" Tire in Salt Lake City, retired from HAFB and had a family-owned lawn care business. He enjoyed golfing, dreaming and greatly loved any time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; 2 sons: Troy (Katrina) Burnett, Bountiful, David (Korri) Burnett, Syracuse, and 3 daughters: Tabra Brisk, Nicco (Mic) Allen, and Patrice Burnett, all of Clearfield; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Marlan (Ethel) Burnett, Charleston, WV, George (Adell) Thompson, Riverton, and a sister, Donna Burnett, Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David R. Burnett.
