Alvin Neilson Obituary
Alvin (Al) Neilson, beloved husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa passed away peacefully on November 22, 2021.
He was born on January 2, 1940 to Sarah Idella Johnson Neilson and William Neilson, He was born and raised in Ogden, Utah and attended Ogden High School.
He married his sweetheart Darlene on May 17, 1958. They were married 63 years.
Al worked for Utility Trailer and Hill Air Force Base and retired in 2003. He loved to fish, hunt, go camping and rebuild classic cars. His pride and joy was his 1931 Model A Ford, he won many awards and trophies in car shows.
He is survived by his sweetheart Darlene Neilson; 3 children Debra Greer, Christine Greene, Scott Neilson and one brother Lynn Neilson.
He was preceded in death by his mother Sarah, his father William, sister Fern and brothers Arlin and Junior.
A visitation and gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
