Angelita Robles Obituary

Angelita Lomas Robles

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Angelita Robles.  Born on August 3, 1939, in Del Rio, Texas, she departed this life on November 22, 2023 due to complications of lung disease.

Angie was married to the love of her life, Guadalupe, and their bond was a testament to the enduring power of love for over 67 years.  She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, and mother to her family.  Her journey led her from her birthplace to various cities including Houston, Texas, Sandy, Utah, Colmar, Pennsylvania, and finally Layton, Utah, where she spent her final years.

A stay at home mom until her boys were in school, Angie later worked as a hair dresser, computer factory technician, and her favorite job as a veterinary technician.  She loved dogs and animals, especially her grand-dogs.  She was an enthusiastic regular at her Zumba and water aerobics classes.  She loved nature and her numerous collection of plants.  Angie was active throughout her years, especially when it came to bargain shopping.  She loved to dance and even took up skiing to be with Lupe.

Angie is survived by and dearly missed by her husband, Guadalupe; her eldest son, Eduardo and his wife Debra; her youngest son, Michael; her grand children, Brian and Sarah; many nieces and nephews among Michigan and Florida; and her cousins in Del Rio, Texas.

Angie’s faith was a big part of her life.  She attended mass worship services regularly and lived a life full of love and dedication to her family and God.  May she rest in eternal peace. She will always be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.

We invite you to share your memories of Angie and upload photos to her memorial page. Your stories will keep Angie’s kind spirit alive in our hearts.
