Annabelle Bennett Obituary

We grieve the loss of an angel on earth, Annabelle Jolene Bennett, who departed this world on September 16, 2023. Born on June 4, 2023, in Brigham City, Utah, Annabelle was a beacon of light whose short life touched everyone who knew her. Her innocence, pure heart, and infectious smile epitomized the sweetness of childhood. As the poet Helen Steiner Rice beautifully said, "A wee bit of heaven drifted down from above - A handful of happiness, a heart full of love."

Annabelle never got the chance to marry or work, but she had an abundant life, filled with love and warmth from her large family. While she was with us, she taught us lessons of unconditional love, strength, and the preciousness of life. Her radiant eyes were full of curiosity and wonder, reflecting a world full of possibilities. She had the unique ability to connect with people on a profound level, her mere presence bringing joy and hope. Until the end, Annabelle was a fighter, displaying a resilience that was awe-inspiring. To quote Emily Dickinson, “Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul - and sings the tunes without the words - and never stops at all.”

Annabelle is survived by her loving parents: Camille and Jason Bennett; her caring siblings Gabriel, Constantine, and Mirran; and a vast cohort of devoted aunts, uncles, and grandparents who cherished her dearly. These include Tamara Whitaker, Jolene Whitaker, Heidi King, Kimberley Clark, Amy Clark, Mark Clark, Autumn Whitaker, Anne Smith, Timothy Bennett, Frances Bennett, Theresa Prezwoznik, Tom Prezwoznik, Bryce Whitaker, and her great-grandmother, Beverly Carter. Each of them will hold onto their unique and precious memories of Annabelle, keeping her spirit alive in their hearts.
