Carmen Nydia Cole, 84, passed away peacefully and was welcomed as a good and faithful servant into the arms of her Heavenly Father on July 28, 2021. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on June 23, 1937 to Roberto Cole and Carmen Sanchez.
Carmen lived in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico for most of her life before moving to North Ogden, Utah in 2006 to be close to her family.
She is survived by her children: Mayra, Jose Javier, Lys (Frank) Ruiz. Carmen was proud of her 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her brother Frank (Lala) Cole, and sister-in-law Gladys Cole. She is preceded in death by her son Roberto Luis Calderon, her brother Hilton Cole, and her parents Roberto and Carmen.
Carmen was dedicated to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and to her beloved family. Her family would like to give a special thanks to Quail Meadow Assisted Living and AFI Hospice for their special care of Carmen.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 31st at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 East 2850, North Ogden at 11:00 AM.
