Carol Geneva Butler Branham 1981 - 2022 Carol Geneva Butler-Branham - wife, mother, and friend - was born December 29, 1981 to David and Camille Butler, the seventh of eight children. She passed away May 7th, 2022 in Jackson City, Mississippi, en-route from Seattle, Washington, returning to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where they had previously lived. She had served as a CNA in a Seattle hospital where she showed deep respect and compassion for the sick and suffering.
A few months after her birth in Bountiful, Utah she moved to Seoul, Korea with her family so her father and mother could lead the Korea Seoul Mission for three years. She loved animals. As a little girl she would often climb the fence around the mission home to reach an animal she could pet. After returning from Korea, she grew up in Farmington, Utah. Her home was at the base of Farmington Canyon where people sometimes abandoned pets. Carol would often adopt these strays and make them part of her family. She loved animals throughout her life, including her dogs Buster and Sweetie and her cat Pumpkin.
Carol Geneva is survived by her son Denver whom she loves deeply, as well as her parents David and Camille Butler, her seven brothers and sisters and their spouses: Laura Gatten, Mark Butler, Wayne & Deena Butler, Sarah & Scott Ward, Joy & Aaron Branham, Rex and Kristy Butler, and Philip & Mina Butler.
