Catherine A "Cathie" Wojtasek

Catherine Ann “Cathie” Wojtasek of North Ogden, Utah passed away Saturday, October 17, 2021 at The Lodge at North Ogden Memory Care Facility.

Cathie was born in Fort Collins, Colorado.  The daughter of Vincent and Agnes Graves on May 15, 1940.  The family later moved to Denver, Colorado where she attended St. Vincent elementary school, graduating from Cathedral High School in 1958.

Cathie married Raymond James Wojtasek at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, Colorado on November 10, 1962, they had six children.  They made their home in Denver and later Lakewood, Colorado.  Cathie was employed by May D and F Department Store, USF&G Insurance company, and managed two apartment buildings for Public Realty Company.  Cathie and Raymond moved to Orem, Utah in 1973 and on to North Ogden, Utah in 1990.

Cathie enjoyed watching and participating in activities with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, traveling, cooking, numerous crafts, and gardening.

Cathie is survived by Raymond her husband of 59 years, her children; Christine, Robert, Ronald, Cheryl and Carrie, and their spouses, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Ray Jr., grandson Dustin, brother Michael and sister Margaret.

The family would like to especially thank the memory care staff at The Lodge.  They cared for Cathie with love, respect, compassion and professionalism.

A Rosary will be Friday, October 22, 2021, 10:15-10:30 am, a viewing 10:30–11:00 am, with Mass at 11:00 am, at St James Catholic Church, 495 N. Harrison Blvd, Ogden, UT.

Interment at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E. 2850 N. No. Ogden, Utah 84414.
