Charlene Erma Todd

Charlene Erma Story Todd, 89, passed away January 24, 2023, in Syracuse, Utah.  She was born July 19, 1933, in Ogden, Utah to Charles Elias and Erma Bell Rawson Story.

Charlene attended Weber High School.  She was a member of The Church of Latter-day Saints and taught Primary and Young Women.  She married Dale Toone, they later divorced.  She married Donald Smith Todd on October 3, 1954, they enjoyed 58 years together until his death in 2013.  Charlene was a cook for the Lincoln Elementary and loved it.  She loved helping her father with the Junior Posse and Parades, taking care of her roses and yard, playing games, and doing crafts with her friends at Raintree.

The family would like to thank the staff at Raintree Assisted Living and Hospice for the loving care to Charlene. 

Charlene is survived by her son Donald S. (Teresa) Todd Jr. and daughters Donalene E. (John) Todd Knowley and Carolyn Toone Bahl, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great-great- grandchildren and a sister Juana (Sherm) Bailey.  She is preceded in death by her husband; son Gary; 1 grandson Raymond; 1 great grandson Luke: parents; and 5 brothers Dan, Grant, Brent, Chuck, and Doug.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at the Eden Mountain View Cemetery, 555 E. 2700 N., Eden, Utah  with a viewing prior from 11:30 – 12:45 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
