Curtis Ryland passed away suddenly on June 7, 2022. He was born on Feb. 23, 1979 in Tacoma, WA.
Curtis is survived by his loving wife of twenty two years Melanie, his adoring daughter Sarah, his Mother Lynette Williams of Layton, his Father Dale Ryland of Washington, his brothers Scott Ryland of West Haven, Willis Williams of Colorado, Chad Williams (Maddy) of North Ogden, his Sister Ashley Salinas (Danny), his Grandpa Robert Toyn of Perry, and several nieces.
Curtis was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Joy Toyn of Perry; his Grandfather, Marlowe Ryland; and his dear cousin, Trevor Toyn of Florida.
Curtis graduated from Layton High School in 1998. Curtis later met his wife Melanie whom he married on Sept. 2, 2000, and their marriage was later solomnized in the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Temple in Salt Lake City on Sept. 7, 2002. Melanie and Curtis were blessed with a beautiful daughter Sarah whom he adored and she adores him.
Curtis enjoyed playing the guitar and drums, he enjoyed all outdoor activities. Curtis was a devout member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. He served many positions including President of the Elders Quorum for several years. He served many families who loved him. In every congregation he was in, the people immediately adored him.
Curtis's personality and sense of humor were a joy to experience.
Friends will be greeted by family Friday June 10, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints Layton 31st ward. See information listed below regarding address and funeral services. A family luncheon will be held at the same church immediately following the services.
Curtis will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. He is and always will be loved and cherished.
