Our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, David Ray Moore, 82, was called home on January 31, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home of natural causes.

He was born on March 21, 1940 in Salt Lake City the son of Ronald and Clara Phillips Moore.

David and his wife started Moore’s Family Restaurant in 1972. With their children they have established an amazing family traditional which is an institution in the Ogden area.

David taught his children the value of hard work. He was an amazing husband and father, a great provider, a marvelous teacher and a champion of inspiration for those who knew him. He was generous, kind and leaves a great legacy for his family and friends.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Anita, four children, Bernice (Nolan) Kelley, Kelly (Laurie) Moore, Maria Moore and Mark (Lisa) Moore, 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

There will be no public services, just take care of your loved ones in David’s memory.
