Debby Quinton Obituary

Plain City, Debby Lou (Walker) Quinton 75 passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family on July 9th, 2021. She was born November 2nd, 1945 to Fred Glen Walker and Jeanette Edith (Lake) Walker. She married her high school sweetheart Harold Arthur Quinton on September 15th, 1963 in Randolph, Utah. She was a mother to all and an amazing school cook for the Weber School district. Starting her career at Weber High school, then Farr West Elementary and finally Fremont High School where she eventually retired from in 2005.

She enjoyed camping on Monte Cristo with her husband and family. Baking, cooking and reading were her favorite past times along with sewing and crocheting. She made the best oatmeal applesauce cookies in the world, with and without raisins. Later in life traveling with her best friend/sister-in-law became a favorite habit, along with traveling with her brothers and sister and their spouses. When she was not traveling, hanging at home with her children and grandchildren around made her day.

She is survived by her children Donald H. Quinton (Annie), Alan K. Quinton (Angelina), Jody A. Peterson (Clint). 13 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Glen Walker (Cleone), Kevin Walker (Glenna) 1 sister Jean Turner (Carl), Sister-in-law Kathleen Hood and best friend Doe Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, Husband and 3 Brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 15th at 11am at the Plain City Stake Center 4630 W. 2150 N. Plain city Utah, 84404.

Friends and Family can call on Wednesday July 14th from 6-8pm at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden Utah 84404. And Thursday prior to the service 9:45 – 10:45 am at the church.

Internment at the West Weber Cemetery 4592 W. 1000 N. West Weber, Utah 84404.
