Dee Spencer Porter, 72, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Bear River Valley Hospital.

Dee was born June 4, 1946 in Logan, Utah a son of Elva Eunice Lucas and Spencer Clayton Porter.

He grew up in Lewiston and graduated from North Cache High School.

Dee worked for Rupp’s Excavation as a Truck Driver, which was his second family.

He enjoyed going to B&B Billiards with friends, Baseball, was a Yankees fan and enjoyed being a little league coach, when the kids were younger. Dee was always happy and the life of the party, he would never say “No” and was always willing to help everyone. Dee had a great smile and gave the best hugs. Dee was a man who loved making all the ladies feel special.

Surviving are his children: Deanna Wright, Cobby (Janice) Porter, Cade (Polly) Porter and step children: Jen (Scott) Rippe and Jeff (Scott) Cleaveland, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and sisters: Marlene Biehler and LaDawn Harms.

Preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Russell Porter and Yevonne Larson.

Special thanks to Rupp’s for treating Dee like family, Matt Stark for his efforts trying to revive Dee and his best friends Robby Buttars and Blaine Rupp.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday April 4, 2019 from 4pm-7pm at his favorite watering hole B&B Billiards, 21 W. Forest St., Brigham City. Casual dress is appreciated.
