Mr. Delmer Burl Hatfield passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 1, 2021 in South Weber, Utah. He was born in O’Keefe, West Virgina on November 25, 1934 to Wallie Hatfield and Ora Stepp. After growing up in West Virgina, he spent the majority of his life living in Utah.
Mr. Hatfield was a retired Missile Technician for the Air Force and also previously served active duty in the Air Force. He enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, boating and fishing. He was also adept at everything mechanical.
He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Patricia. His son Phillip (Hae Suk) Hatfield of Lakeport, CA; daughter Lynn (Steven) Rahl of Riverdale, UT; and son Kenneth Hatfield of South Ogden, UT. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Evans of Columbus, OH, and by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Hatfield is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Lynch Hatfield and Morgan Hatfield and by sisters; Dreama Lockridge and Cleo Smith.
The funeral service for Mr. Hatfield will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10:00 am at Myers Mortuary in Roy, UT. With a visitation prior on Friday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The burial will take place at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Ogden, UT at 11:30 am.
