Duane Boehme returned to his Heavenly Father and many of his loved ones as the completion of his mission here on earth. Duane was born to Walter Boehme and Afton Poulsen on the 17th of February 1950. He graduated from Roy High School and was educated in auto mechanics through Weber State. He used these skills while working with his dad, brother, and sometimes friends at the family service station in Hooper, Utah.
Duane enjoyed fishing, boating, snowmobiling, and watching football and basketball, he also played the trumpet and loved listening to Jazz and classical music.
He served in the armed forces for a time until an injury ended that service. At the passing of his father, Duane was given the responsibility of caring for his mother for several years, which he did very unselfishly until her passing in 2005.
We will miss you Duane, we will miss the religious and political debates down at the service station. We will miss you showing up each year at the Family Christmas Party with the big shrimp platter and sneaking out before anyone caught sight of you. We will miss your little jokes and shy laugh. We will miss the sentimental wonderful man you are, we love you and look forward to the day we will see you again.
We will celebrate the life of Duane Boehme at the Hooper Cemetery, 5301 South 6300 West, Hooper, Utah on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:00am.
