Frances Elaine (Helgesen) Young

     The stars shine brilliantly after the clock stops. Time stands still, although the sun and moon have not been dismantled. The ocean should be poured away, yet it still ebbs and flows. Perhaps this is because there is no life span to her memory.

     Frances had an insatiable desire to live life and a love of family beyond measure. She left us on September 26th, 2022 at the age of 92. A life well lived!

     Frances was the bright light in the room. With a mischievous gleam in her eyes, stories of family lore and nostalgic memories of her Norwegian heritage would fill the room. Her love of Norway, her family and an unrivaled imagination on full display.

     The light turned on when Frances was born on November 25th in 1929. Her parents Hans and Frances Helgesen of Ogden, Utah.

     Frances met Vi Young and the rest of the story is written. Frances and Vi made home in North Ogden and loved living at the foot of Ben Lomond. This is where they started their family in 1963. Frances has two beautiful children, 3 grandchildren and made home too for many pets over the years. She enjoyed taking care of the wild creatures that made home on her property. She had an unrivaled love for the birds and squirrels that watched over her home and family.

     Hellfire in the form of a flower, she was. Steadfast in her convictions with a fiery determination.

    At her request, no services will be held. We will miss her.
