Hamid Kashanipour, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born June 19, 1946, in Tehran, Iran to Ahmad Kashanipour and Akram Nili. He married Kay Harvey in Ogden on November 20, 1975.

Hamid was known for his smile and kind nature as he worked in many stores throughout the years. He attended Weber State. He enjoyed the outdoors, plants, gardening, keeping his car in prime condition, but most of all he loved his family and the time he spent with them.

Hamid is survived by his wife of 48 years Kay; children Ryan (Logan) Kashanipour, Maryam (Josh) Noriega; siblings Jaleh (Hossein) Panahinia, Nahid (Mohammad) Sarijlou, Mohammad (Jila) Kashanipour, Azar (Tom) Trachy, Sam Kash; sister-in-law Diane (Richard) Nielsen; 6 grandchildren Amira, Ari, Mila, Sloan, Maxwell, and Samuel. Preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held.
