Heather Marie (Bryant) Whitaker

Heather Marie Bryant Whitaker, age 44, of Farr West, Utah, passed away on April 14, 2024. She was born on April 26, 1979, in Layton, Utah. Heather was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and friend.

She married Tyke Whitaker August 8, 2016 (VIIIVIIIMMXVI) they were together a total of 18 years.

Heather had a fulfilling career, working many years as a Registered Nurse manager at Rocky Mountain Care Rehabilitation before joining Dr. Carl Gray M.D. at Ogden Clinic Oncology. Her dedication to healthcare touched many lives. 

In her free time, Heather enjoyed various hobbies, including scuba diving, trap shooting, snowboarding, and family game nights filled with card games, darts and corn hole. She was an Avid Pickle ball player and had a deep love for animals, especially dogs and horses.

Heather is survived by her husband, Tyke Whitaker; parents, John and Sherri Bryant; sweet fur baby Maui; father-in-law, Brent Whitaker; mother-in-law, Sherry Whitaker; brother, Tyson Whitaker; best friend/sister, Jamie Eyre; best friend, Emily Dixon; and a loving extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Keith and Shirley Mikkelsen; uncle, Ken Clough; grandparents, Ray and Peggy Dustin; and sweet fur baby Chopper.

A graveside service to honor Heather’s life will be held on April 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Syracuse Cemetery, 1250 South 1000 West, Syracuse, Utah. Heather will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
