Obituary

Israel Dominguez Castillo
OGDEN – Israel Dominguez Castillo, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away on February 19, 2011 at the age of 31.

He was born in Madrid, Spain to Encarnacion C. Munoz. An outdoorsman, Israel spent a lot time in the mountains with best friend, Buddy—his doggy companion whom he loved very much. Riding his motorcycle, water skiing, hunting, hiking and playing games with family and friends were but a few of his favorite pastimes. His nieces and nephew held a special place in his heart and he made a note of giving them a big hug when he saw them. Uncle Israel's gifts were always the favorite toys. Israel was concerned about others and went out of his way to lift up those with lesser means. He was very protective of those who could not fend for themselves. Israel also loved making people laugh and had the quirkiest sense of humor. When he looked at you with his big brown eyes and contagious grin, there was no resisting a smile.

Israel served an LDS mission in the Chicago North area from 2000-2002. He later went on to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering from WCTC. He worked for several years at Weber State University as an Electronics Technician.

He is survived by his mother, Encarnacion; grandmother, M. Luisa Munoz; aunts, Guadalupe Blanco and Azucena Blanco; uncles, Jose Munoz, Daniel Blanco and Santiago Blanco; and siblings, Andres (Rosario) Dominguez, Noemi (James) Erickson, and Patricia Dominguez (Michael Smith).
Cremation under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary.
