James Donald Rozanski

It is with great sadness that we announce our dear husband, father, and grandfather James Donald Rozanski, 75, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan, to Stanley J. Rozanski and Eugenia Czech.

He graduated from Cody High School and received his Master’s Degree in Engineering from Wayne State University.

Jim married his sweetheart, Kathleen June Chevalier, on September 9, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan. They were married for 56 wonderful years.

In 1981, he obtained employment with Thiokol, which brought him and his family  to Brigham City, Utah.

He was a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church.

Jim had a passion for building and restoring cars, especially his award winning ’65 Cobra. He also enjoyed traveling, back packing, and spending time on the Oregon Coast, particularly Newport, Oregon.

He was punctual, smart, caring, and loved his family. He had a very special bond with his children.

Jim is survived by his dear wife, Kathy; children: Mark Rozanski and Raquel Johnson (Shane); 7 grandchildren: Nicole Henry (Todd), Ashley Rindlisbaker (Jake), Garet Eyre (Jade), Aiden Eyre (Sydney), Lauren Eyre, Drake Johnson, and Tristan Eyre; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Viewing held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
