Jeffrey Russell Petersen

Jeffrey Russell Petersen, 38, passed away much too young on Saturday January 21, 2023 surrounded by a tiny fraction of the number of people who love him. He was born October 5, 1984 in Logan, Utah to Russell William and Sharon Effie Laws Petersen. He graduated from Bear River High School in 2003 and then went on to attend Utah State and Bridgerland Technical College where he got his certificate in machining technology. He met his wife, Heidi, in January 2011, and they were married in May 2011. His daughter, Mara Brenae, was born in 2012, followed by his son, Brian Jeffrey, in 2015.

Jeff had so many talents. He loved machining, 3d printing, gardening, and fixing things. He was so thoughtful and kind and was always watching out for other people. He had the BEST sense of humor and always had people laughing whether the situation called for it or not (the latter being his preference.) 

Jeffrey is survived by his wife, his two children, his parents, his sister, his in-laws, and so many people that were lucky enough to know him. He was preceded in death by his sister Jami. 

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday January 28 at 2:00 pm. A viewing will take place before at 12:30-1:45PM. Both events will take place at the following location:
