Jessie Baker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we must tell you of the passing of our beloved Jessie on January 20, 2023, at Brigham City Hospital. She was born on June 7, 1944, to Wilbur Thompson and Yvonne Guichard in Winton, California.

Jessie married Bernard Frank Baker on May 2, 1980, in Reno, NV. She was a homemaker and loved to take care of Bernard and their home and property. When she married Bernard, she gained a whole family including his children and grandchildren. She loved them as if they were her own.

She had many talents that she freely shared with all of us with her handy work of sewing and embroidery. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching birds out her window and playing board games. She loved spending time with her dog Shelby. Jessie and Bernard loved to travel in their RV. Jessie was soft spoken, caring, quiet, and a kindhearted person.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed most recently attending church and spending time with her friends from church.

Jessie was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family.

Jessie leaves behind her loving family, including her children: Michael Baker (Lily), Diana Baker, Garry Baker (Teri), Sandy Baker; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandchildren: Dustin and Tyese.

The family would like to express sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who have taken care of and loved our Jessie, with a special thanks to Ogden Regional Hospital, Willow Glen Rehabilitation, and all her neighbors and friends from church.
