Joseph Brett Stewart, passed away on September 3, 2021. He was born on August 22, 1960, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Gary William Stewart and Marilyn Johnson Peterson.
Joey was raised in the Ogden area his entire life, he attended Ogden High School, where he was awarded many medals while on the swim team. Joey had lots of friends and made fun memories with his younger brother Erik.
Joey was a talented artist, as well as, shooting a pretty good stick down on the historical two-bit street. Joey was also handyman and jack of all trades, His character, charm, and enthusiasm made him who he was. He was a gifted salesman that traveled all over the country - spray bottle in one hand and a rag in the other. He could go into an establishment, and pretty much sell everybody in there whatever it was he was selling, making friends along the way. Through his life as a salesperson, he loved getting to travel and visit many parts of The United States.
Joey was a spiritual man and often found solace with his God through music. He could often be found jamming out with his friends and grandson, Skyler.
He enjoyed camping, snow skiing, riding motorcycles, and playing pool. Joey was known to his friends as the Life of the Party and a ladies’ man. Joey loved life and liked to have a good time. There wasn’t a day that he didn’t make a difference in a positive way toward those that needed it most. He will be dearly missed- TOOTLES.
Joey is survived by his children: Jannelle Miconi, Angie Bloomfield and Nate Stewart, eight grandchildren; also survived by his mother Marilyn Peterson and brother, Erik Peterson, uncle and aunt Chuck and Susan Johnson.
Preceded in death by his father Gary Stewart and niece Courtney Peterson
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. at Myers Mortuary
Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.
