Josie Marie Oquendo

Josie Marie Oquendo (Nena) 54, passed away October 9, 2021 in Ogden, Utah.  She was born to Crecencio Oquendo and Angelita Gonzalez Oquendo on March 18, 1967 in Ogden, Utah.

She enjoyed many things in her life and made many friends. She helped people when she could. She fought many battles of her own and was stronger for it. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, drawing, writing poetry, playing bingo, and most of all spending time with her grandson Jozias, her one true love.

Josie is survived by her sons whom she loves very much. Anthony, Joseph and Angelo, and her siblings; Alberto (Wendy), Jeannie and Theresa, and grandson Jozias. She is preceded in death by her parents.

A viewing will be held from 6-7:30 pm,  on Thursday, October 21, 2021 with a moment of sharing at 7:30 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
