Kay Wells Jensen died peacefully on May 28, 2023, at Beehive Homes in Perry, UT. She was born on April 9. 1931 to Blynn and Mayme Jensen Wells in Corinne, UT. She was raised in Promontory and resided in Clearfield and Brigham City, UT. She attended school in Promontory, UT. She married Darrell Henry Jensen on February 28, 1947, in Brigham City, UT. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple. Together they raised 4 children.
For many years she repaired uniforms for Weber State College as she was an excellent seamstress. She was a busy homemaker but loved to travel with her husband all over the Western United States. They loved spending time in their home in Quartzite, AZ, and their cabin in the Uintah’s.
Kay was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings throughout the years.
She loved bowling, arts and crafts, bead work, and crocheting. She loved being with her grandchildren. She was energetic and always on the go. She was always willing to stop and help others.
She is survived by her sons: Paul (Lisa) Jensen, Blair (Laura) Jensen; daughter-in-law, Fran Jensen, son-in-law, David Folkman; sister LeRee Cobb; 16 grandchildren and a host of great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, and children: Kathleen Jensen Folkman and Mark Jensen and sister, Doris Larson.
A Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 1:00p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery 300 East 300 South, Brigham City UT.
