Kevin Bosley Obituary

Kevin Abel Bosley, a man of diverse talents and irresistible charisma, born in Uvalde, Texas on April 29, 1956, passed away on February 12, 2024. He spent his childhood years in Box Elder County, in the idyllic town of Corinne, where he attended Corinne School and later, Box Elder High School. As a dedicated carpenter who painted houses alongside his grandfather, Kevin was an excellent craftsman. His work with Thiokol and sponsorship by Vesco for Motocross Racing bore testament to his professional prowess.

Kevin was more than just his job. His passions ran deep and wide, painting a vivid picture of a man who was truly in love with life. A keen artist, his oil paintings and drawings showcased an innate creativity that was as captivating as the man himself. He had an unparalleled affinity for the outdoors. Whether it was fishing, hunting, trapping, or clay pigeon shooting, Kevin was at home amidst nature. He even tanned his own hides and crafted Mountain Men clothing for his family, further testament to his resourcefulness. As a motocross racer and hill climber, he was as adventurous as he was talented. His love for automobiles was evident in the joy he derived from working on them. Despite life’s ups and downs, what mattered most to Kevin was the lively conversations he enjoyed with others, his resourcefulness, and the many talents he possessed.

Kevin was a beloved father to his three sons - Eli, Jeremiah, and William Bosley, and was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His marriage to Joni VanDewerker on October 25, 1975, in Ogden, Utah, although later ended in divorce, brought forth a wonderful family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Abel Saldana and Julia Bosley, and his sister, Linda Bosley-Harrelson.
