Laurie Ann (Schryer) Payne

Laurie Ann Payne peacefully passed away on Monday April 24, 2023 surrounded by her family. Laurie was born on June 20, 1963 in Long Island, New York to Edmond and Sandra Schryer. Laurie graduated from Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs California. She has lived in Layton, Utah with her husband Jason Payne for the last 17 years.

She had an amazing appreciation of music and movies and she loved sharing that love with others. Laurie loved crafting and loved giving her crafts and sharing them with everybody she knew. She enjoyed camping with her family and friends. She could make friends with anyone she met, at the gas station, in lines for buffets, she was always making conversations with people.

Laurie survived by her loving husband of 17 years Jason Payne; her daughters, Danielle Steck (Steffen Baker) and Shae Bunker; her parents, Edmond and Sandra Schryer; her niece, Sara Schryer; her fur babies, Bam Bam, Mya and Kitty and all of her grand kitties, and all of her friends she considered family. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Thomas Schryer; whom she loved and missed dearly.

Laurie was a loving Mother, Daughter, and Wife with a heart of gold. She will be missed dearly but she will remain with us in our hearts forever.
