Lee Russell Zinck, 95, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 11, 2019 with his family by his side.
Lee was born on October 6, 1923 in Bear River City, Utah a son of Anna Nielsen and Christian Zinck.
He served his country in the Navy during World War II from 1940 to 1945, Lee received Purple Heart on May 9, 1943.
He married LaVinna Rae Richardson on December 21, 1950 in Elko, Nevada, they were later sealed in the Ogden Temple on March 13, 1990.
Lee worked at Hill Air Force Base as a boiler machinist supervisor.
Surviving are his loving wife LaVinna of 69 years, children: Rebecca Lee Zinck (Clyde) Nichols and Tyler Zinck; nine grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents and all his siblings, one grandson Corey Zinck, one great-grandson Justin Taylor and one great-great-granddaughter Aadyn Olsen.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 am at Brigham City South Stake Center, 865 S. 300 W., Brigham City, UT.
Viewing will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Church.
Interment will be in the Willard Cemetery with Military Honors Accorded by the Combined Veterans from Box Elder County.
