On the morning of December 2, 2022, Loa Armstrong our beloved mother, returned to her Father in Heaven.
Loa was born in Fairview, UT on July 12, 1928. She moved to Ogden, UT when she was about 13 years old. She worked at the IRS and Hill Air Force Base until she retired. Mom was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints.
Mom’s greatest joy in life was her family. She had 10 children and proudly raised them on her own. Last we checked, she had 150 grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren and still counting! Her influence was unmatched and everyone who walked through her door was family; they had a place at her table and a forever place in her heart. She took in the struggling and many people have turned their lives around because of her love and support. She loved fiercely and unconditionally. Her warm embrace and an “I love you” made you feel the center of her world. Mom may not have had much in her life, but she was rich with those who loved her and with the love she gave to those around her.
Mom is preceded in death by her three daughters Kathy, Elaine, and Glenda. She is survived by her children Jerry (Cathy), Jeanene, Gary (Kathy), Douglas (Pam), Cheryl, Russell (Wendy), and Janet (Harvey). Mom is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren who live in her memory of unconditional love and kindness.
“I love you more.”
