Mario Anthony Echevarria

Mario Echevarria, 37, of Ogden, Utah passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at home.

Mario was born September 25, 1985, to Virginia Mora and Frank Echevarria. He graduated from Ogden High School, class of 2004. He was the oldest of five siblings, Anthony (Cassandra), Mark (Jacmine), Lea -Marie, and Angel Mora.

Mario was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He had 7 nieces and nephews, Alina, Mark, Dibiase, Sonny, Amaya, Maylay and Zavier.

Mario had many hobbies, including video games, especially Legend of Zelda, he also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. At the age of 14 Mario found an interest in drawing anime. He became a skilled artist not only with pencil and paper but also mastered digital drawings. He enjoyed spending time with friends and had a unique bond with every one of them. He considered them family.

He is preceded in death by Santos and Maria Dominguez and Linda and John Echevarria.

Mario was a kind-hearted soul who touched many lives. He was truly a blessing to everyone around him. From his witty sense of humor to his tremendous kindness. He will be remembered for being the son who never told his mother “No” and the brother who was proud to show off his retro 80’s style music and passed on the tradition of his Marvel comics and movies.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT. There will be a viewing Thursday, Jun 8th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday prior to the service from 10 to 10:40 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, UT.
