Michael D. Hauenstein, 70, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 at his home.
Mike was born April 24, 1947 in Mount Vernon, WA, a son of Vaudis Jennie Yates and DeWayne “Dee” Edgar Hauenstein.
He graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Utah State.
Mike served his Country in the Army in Vietnam, where he received a Purple Heart.
He married Patricia Burke November 23, 1968. They later divorced. Mike married Gay Hansen Quinn on July 31, 1999 they were happily married for 18 years.
He was an avid football fan. Mike enjoyed spending family time fishing and hunting. He thoroughly loved spending time with his 34 grandkids.
Surviving are his sweetheart Gay and his children Francine, Michael, Cristie, John, Mel, Kim, Loralee, Kyle, Andrea, Kevin and Ashlee. Also, siblings: Roxanna Tippetts, LaVonne Manuel, Gwen Rupp and Karen Hauenstein.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother Danny.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City 1st Ward Chapel, 236 E. 100 S., Brigham City, UT.
Viewings will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and Monday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park, 836 36th Street, Ogden with Military Honors Accorded by the Combined Veterans from Box Elder County.
