Mike grew up in Santa Cruz, California, where he attended Soquel High School and enjoyed the ocean and BMX bicycling.
He moved to Brigham City, Utah during his senior year of high school and graduated from Box Elder Adult Education in 1981. After high school Mike
proudly served in the First Battalion of the 145th Field Artillery of the Utah National Guard for 10 years, where he made friendships he treasured throughout his life.

They were happily married for 14 years, until LaDawna’s death in October 2018.

During his life in Brigham City, Mike worked at Whitaker Construction, Storm Products, and most recently, Chromalox.  Mike was an avid motorcycle rider, music lover, he loved cooking for his friends and family making them laugh and watching them enjoy the meal he prepared. He will always be remembered for his quick wit.
