Harper Ward - Patrick Kyle Hunsaker, 31, quietly passed from this world on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 of kidney failure. Born March 6, 1981, son of Michael S. and Marilyn Hunsaker. Despite being autistic, Kyle had a deep love for education and loved the time he spent in school. Kyle attended CBTU (now the Pingree School) and Park View Elementary in Salt Lake City, and Lakeview Elementary School where he made a number of lifelong friends. After attending Box Elder Middle School and Box Elder High School, he moved on to the Extended High School to continue his education until his 22nd birthday. Kyle always had a love for education, He passed his time reading, playing video games and watching his favorite TV shows. Among the things Kyle cherished in life were an affinity for local sports teams, especially the Utah Jazz, as well as a keen eye for politics and learning about economics. Kyle had a great love for animals, history books, especially on Utah and LDS Temples. Kyle is survived by his parents, his twin brother Ryan (Naomi), of Sacramento CA; and his sister Michelle, of Bentonville, AR; and his grandmother Shirley Pearce, of Paradise UT.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Box Elder North Stake Center, 620 N. 300 E, Brigham City, UT.
There will be a viewing on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.
Interment will be in the Calls Fort Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kyle's name to the Carmen B Pingree Center for Children with Autism, 780 S. Guardsman Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108 Memo: Scholarship Fund.
We would also like to give a special thanks to the same day surgical unit (Julie) and the ICU at Ogden Regional Hospital, and also to Dr. Van Bibber, Dr. McDonald, and Dr. Pittman.
