Paul Stuart Obituary

Paul Kent Stuart passed away August 17, 2019. He was born April 2, 1944, in Copperton, Utah to Mueryl Archie Stuart and Ida Marie Grow.

Paul married Gayle Ann Law on July 9, 1966 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were married for 16 years. Then he married Carol Ann on April 22, 1986. She died on February 1, 2012 after being married for 25 years.

Paul served 4 years in the Navy, served during the Vietnam War and was trained to be an electrician. 

He owned several small businesses in his lifetime.

Paul loved to work around his 40 acres of desert, by planting trees and bushes to make it a wonderful home. He loved to make homemade cards and wind chimes.  Paul devoted his spare time to the VFW, the Moose Club and the Elks club. 

He is survived by his children and step children: Michael (Mckenzie) Stuart, Marnie (Robb) Christensen, Chris (Darlene) Call, Shane (Nancy) Call and Jeffrey Cifelli; 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Stuart, parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

The family would like to Thank, the George Wahlen VA Hospital in Salt Lake City for their help in making Dad comfortable so quickly, Canyon Home Care and Hospice, Emily and Laney for their great support and care for Dad and the family.

Cremation under the direction of Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
