Paula (Correa) Salas

Paula Correa Salas, 94, passed away September 21, 2022. She was born June 30, 1928 in Sonora, Mexico to Juan and Petra Correa. She married Samuel Salas on September 25, 1948 in Sonora, Mexico.

Paula loved sewing, gardening, cooking, shopping, and always putting others before herself. Her family was her whole world—making each family member feel like they were her favorite.

Paula was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Washington Terrace 1st Ward.

Paula is survived by her husband; her 7 children, Saul (Deborah) Salas, Willie Salas, Ruben (Debra-deceased) Salas, Rick (Vicki) Salas, James Salas, Sam Jr. (Michelle) Salas, and Irene (Ben) Salas-Haro. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Juana Correa, Maria Correa, and Trini Correa; 24 grandchildren and 68 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at the Washington Terrace 1st Ward (Spanish Ward), 4210 S. 300 W., Riverdale, UT. A viewing will be held prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden, UT.
