Perry D. Love, age 63, passed away on May 19, 2022, at McKay Dee Hospital. He was born August 6, 1958, to Arlene and Richard Love in Ogden, Utah. He married Tracie Bond in 1977, and they had two sons, they later divorced. On August 31, 1991, he married the love of his life, Lorrie Lowe, who he referred to as his whole world, and gained three more children.
He was a skilled auto body and paint specialist, painting many custom cars for Ogden locals, businesses and of course his family. He loved working with his lifelong friend Mike Fry at Mike Fry Autobody and retired when the business closed its doors on January 29, 2017.
Perry was the roughest, toughest guy around with a heart of gold. His favorite phrase was "Don't tell Lorrie".
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with family at his recreational property in Evergreen Estates. This included sunset ATV rides, campfires, and lots of laughter. He also loved spending quiet time at home with his wife and dog Sophie, trips to Wendover, Fireworks, Christmas Eves, and other celebrations with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Lorrie Love; his children: Trent (Danielle) Love, Brody (Haylee) Love, Jason (Kirsten) Hale, Shanna "Cotton-Top" (David) Johnson, Bryan (Sarah) Hale; 22 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; his siblings John (Sheila) Love, Sheri (Dan) Smith, and Laurie (Michelle) Love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Danny Love, and many beloved pets.
We would like to thank Dr. Beverly Kerwin and her wonderful staff for the care received during his last days.
A celebration of life will be held at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S 1900 W, Roy on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
