Randall William Jensen

Randall William Jensen 82 passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at his home.

Randall was born October 28, 1937 in Rock springs, WY a son of Ruth Braegger and William Carter Jensen.

He married Marjorie Ann Clark on April 29, 1960; they were sealed in the Logan Temple on January 29, 1970.

Randall earned multiple degrees at Utah State University and was a member of Phi Kappa Alpha Fraternity.

Randall had a PHD in Electrical Engineering, was a world-renowned expert in software cost estimation for over 40 years.  Published numerous books and papers on the subject.  Developed the Sage Software Schedule and Cost Estimation System which is still in use today.  He was fluent in Klingon and loved to write messages to confuse the family.  His love of Monty Python and the Holy Grail was legendary to family and friends alike.

Surviving are his sweetheart Marjorie; daughters: Kathy Ann (Steve) Brown; Lori Ann Jensen; Jennifer (Keith Livingston) Jensen; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and brothers: Cordell Jensen and Kirk Jensen.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Brigham City 14th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Dr., Brigham City, UT.

Viewings will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Church.

Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
