Ray Adams Obituary

A LOVING FAREWELL RAY ALAN ADAMS

RAY ALAN ADAMS -Moved forward into his next life on November 14, 2022 at the age of 88. His battle with medical issues in recent years caused a lot of pain, but Ray showed his strength and courage on facing life challenges the best he could. He was able to spend the last remaining months of his life with his son Russ who took care of him and kept him comfortable until his passing.

Ray was born to Evelyn Vought and Ray Merle Adams in Remer, Minnesota. Raised by Evelyn and John (step father) Meredith.

Ray served in the military branch of the Army for 2 years . National Guard 8 years and after serving his country- it was time he became a working man.

Ray was a Justice of the Peace (East Layton) for 5 years. Chief of Police (East Layton) and a career at Hill Air Force Base for 34 years.

He was a simple man who enjoyed being the center of attention as the lead vocalist and playing the bass in his country band for 30 years.

In his spare time he loved to paint the gorgeous Utah scenery from mountains to lakes. For relaxing in the evenings he would watch Wheel of Fortune. He also got a little of the gambling bug ,and would venture out to Wendover or would purchase lottery tickets- in hopes of hitting the big pay out-though he did not win the big pay out he would win enough to continue playing throughout his life.

Ray is survived by his daughter Raeleen Adams- Carmack, son Rod Adams and son Russ Adams.

Ray is preceded in death by son Rick Adams by his sister LaVonne, Ex- wife Erma Forbes, wife Sheryl Tidball and wife Donna Child.

A Special Thank you to the Excellent Hospice team Paige, Michelle and Kendall who cared for Ray and made his final moments so peaceful.

Ray Alan Adams has requested you remember him in your own way and to not have a funeral service or memorial, but say a final GOOD BYE!
