Rebecca "Becki" Lee Cloud

Rebecca “Becki” Lee Cloud was born 12 December 1959 at the Hillside Community Hospital in Ukiah, California to LaZann Dickerson Cloud and James Lauren Cloud, who have proceeded her in death. She passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, in Ogden, Utah. She is survived by her six siblings Joyce LaZann Cloud, Daniel James Cloud, Ronald Vernon Cloud, LaRee Elizabeth Cloud, LaRinda Ann Cloud Chappell, Lauren Dickerson Cloud and many nephews and nieces.

She graduated from Ukiah High School in 1978 and received her associates degree from Rick's College in 1987. She went on to enjoy a working vacation in Yellow Stone National Park for the summer of 1987 before moving down to Ogden, Utah. After several odd jobs and contract cleaning she was hired at Weber State College in 1989. In March of 1992 she would be hired on as a full-time custodian. In October of 1992 she would joint purchase a home with one of her sisters.

Becki worked at Weber State University until she went out on early retirement in 2019. She returned to work as a part-time custodian in February 2020 before the pandemic started closing businesses down.

She enjoyed spending her time with family and learning more about carpentry, electrical, and plumbing; all of which helped with house repairs and remodeling. She enjoyed crafting dried flower arrangements, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. She was a great cook. She spent some of her time watching how to gold pan, cut opals, refurbish furniture and homes (castles included). She enjoyed science fiction and fantasy in all mediums and listening to music. She will be greatly missed.

Becki’s services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023, 11 a.m. at Eccles Park Ward, 1029 26th Street, Ogden, Utah, with a viewing prior 9:30-10:45 a.m.  Internment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N. Monroe, Blvd., Ogden, Utah.
